DAVID SEALS DE DEAL

David De Gea has joined us from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth around £18million. The 20-year-old goalkeeper passed a medical this week and has agreed a five-year deal. His arrival takes our boss Alex Ferguson's spending past the £50m mark this summer after the signings of English pair Phil Jones and Ashley Young.

In an exclusive interview with MUTV, De Gea said that “When a club the size of Manchester United comes in for you it obviously makes you happy, it’s a great privilege to be part of a club like United and I'm keen to do my best and show what I can do.”

The young stopper, who was part of Spain’s victorious squad at the UEFA European Under-21 Championships last weekend also play an important role in Atletico Madrid win during the European Super Cup 2010 against Inter Milan when he manage to save a 90th penalty from Diego Milito.

UNITED TO SIGNS HIGHLY RATED ENGLISH PAIR

According to The Sun, United have won the race to sign Blackburn Rovers England under-21 defender Phil Jones in a deal understood to be worth £16m. The 19 years old centre-back will undergo medical tests at United's training ground before signing a five-year contract.

United have already agreed a fee for the English central defender, a man dubbed by many as a future England captain. Wayne Rooney has given Jones' move the thumbs up, by tweeting: "He's one of the toughest defenders I played against last season".

Jones, who made his Premier League debut in March last year against Chelsea, played 28 times last season despite being hampered by injuries, and is part of England's European Under-21 Championship squad alongside Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling and Tom Cleverly. ~all the best to our lads.!~

In other transfer news, The Daily Mail claims that United will complete the signing of Ashley Young within the next 48 hours. It is understood that England forward Young was on the verge of signing a five-year deal at Old Trafford after agreeing personal terms. Young that are likely to be double his wages to about £130,000 a week is set to complete the move to Old Trafford after returning from his honeymoon with his fiance Natalie Pike. The England winger will cost United around £20million, an amount that Villa can’t refuse to say no. Ashley Young who came as a substitute against Switzerland scored the equalizer and rescues a point for England during their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. According to Sir Alex Ferguson he is the perfect successor for Ryan Giggs and he can be the next star in this United squad.

Other English player that are top in Sir Alex transfer list is midfielder Jack Rodwell from Everton. Sir Alex has been long-term admirer of Jack Rodwell and wish to sign the 20 years old midfielder to strengthen our midfield for next season that have been left by retired Paul Scholes.

~ so now, what do you guys think about this players and please leave your comment about them or any other players that you think we should buy to strengthen our United squad ~

Our Chicharito scores!!

United new-boy Javier Hernandez known as "Chicharito" has scored the most important goal of his career to date on Thursday evening, opening the scoring in Mexico's crucial World Cup group A clash with France.

The 22-year-old was introduced as a second half substitute as coach Javier Aguirre sought victory, and Chicharito needed less than 10 minutes to spring the French offside trap, expertly control Rafael Marquez's through-ball, skip past goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and slot into the untended goal.

His goal also added a new chapter to his unique family history. The third generation of his family to feature at a World Cup for Mexico, Javier has now emulated his grandfather, Tomas Balcazar, who scored in the 1954 World Cup against France.

Aside from the goal, Chicharito's 35-minute cameo was littered with neat touches and intelligent movement, lending further weight to arguments in Mexico that he should regularly start in Aguirre's front three. (that i think he should)

p/s: so we all knew what this boy can do and we r hoping that he can perform more better in the next game.. but then pity to one of our united player (evra) who captain the france side,, a lost means that france must win againts South Africa and hoping that Javier Hernandez can scores and win it for mexico againts uruguay.. all the best for this 2 lads!!

NANI TO MISS THE WORLD CUP??!!

ok, as we all know Rio Ferdinand are not going to join the three lions in the world cup campaign in Africa, and now Nani will join him too??!!

Nani has left Portugal's World Cup squad due to a shoulder injury.

The flying winger, who enjoyed a dazzling second half of the club season with United, suffered the blow during training late last week.

"Following the injury to the left clavicle suffered by Nani, a daily assessment of the damage and the completion of medical tests, we have concluded he is unable to be competitive," read a statement.

"The medical file will now be presented to the medical department of Manchester United."

The Portuguese Football Federation have called up Benfica's Ruben Amorim as a replacement, and United will now take over his rehabilitation process.

Hurmm, pity him.. how i wish i can see him dazzling in this upcoming world cup tournament along side with our former hero Ronaldo..
well now all we can wish is that both nani and Rio will be fit for United next campaign~~
